BSCB Annual Conference 2009: 'Think Family - Working with families where there are parental mental health needs'

The BSCB Annual Conference was held on 21 October 2009. The focus was on bridging the gap between Adult Mental Health and Children's Services. It was an extremely popular event with 112 delegates attending the day.

It was an ideal opportunity to focus on the issues that result in barriers when working across adult and children's services, to the detriment of the families agencies are there to help. Some excellent speakers helped delegates consider both the adult and child perspective, and a scenario played by actors at Activate brought some of these points to life.

An update was given on the new multi-agency protocol which is shortly due for completion.

The Report and PowerPoint Presentations are available to download and can be seen on the right hand side of the page.
