Single Agency Training Resource Pack:
This resource pack, aimed at those delivering Safeguarding Children (Child Protection) training and produced on DVD, was launched on 19th June 2008. It followed a 2007 in-depth audit of single agency training, conducted by Barbara Firth, independent trainer and consultant.
The aim of the pack is to support single agency training by providing the baseline of information required to deliver training programmes approved by the BSCB. The pack was well received by those who attended the launch.
It was agreed that the BSCB Safeguarding Children Training Manager, Ann Lexton, will offer support and advice to agencies regarding this training, through updates on the BSCB website and bi annual meetings for trainers and co-ordinators of single agency training.
